Aidlink are delighted to announce the publishing of our 2016 Annual Report as presented at the 2017 AGM on Wednesday June 7th.
As outlined in the Annual Report, key achievments from 2016 include:
36,000 mothers and 115,000 children benefited from improved Mother and Child Healthcare
596 farming households received training to improve food and income security
52 primary schools received hygiene and sanitation improvement
15,000 people gained access to cleaner, safer water
As well as that, 2016 saw significant expansion of our Development Education Immersion Programme as the number of schools grew from one biennially to a total of four in 2016, between them bringing 140 students to Ghana, Uganda and Kenya.
Aidlink would like to thank Mary Scully and Chairperson Clive Byrne who retired from the Board at the 2017 AGM following their completion of the maximum 3 terms of office. We are grateful for their committment and stewardship as directors over the past number of years.
