Aidlink is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Charities Institute of Ireland’s 2019 Charity Excellence Awards in the category for ‘Big Impact’.

It is a huge honour to be recognised for this category as it is our aim to implement programmes that are sustainable and impactful for people living in poverty in Africa.

Our education project in Kajiado, Kenya has seen an increase in enrollment of 20-30%, absenteeism among girls in school has reduced by an average of 27% and the completion rate for girls in target school has increased by 46%. We couldn’t do any of this without all of Aidlink’s friends and supporters, thank you!

Congratulations to our fellow nominees and we hope to see you at the Awards ceremony taking place in the Guinness Storehouse on June 20th.

“The Charity Excellence Awards aims to highlight and reward excellence within the charity sector.”
