Aidlink won the Chartered Accountants Ireland Published Accounts Award for Small/Medium Not-for-Profit. This is the third year in a row that Aidlink has won this award, and the fifth year in a row that we have been nominated.
This award highlights Aidlink’s commitment to good governance, accountability and transparency and we are honoured and proud to take it home once again. Congratulations to all those shortlisted for the awards, especially Trocaire, Concern, Barretstown, the Care Trust and Barnardos. It was great to be among such good company last week at the awards ceremony, and to be reminded of the important work being done by other Irish charities.
Last week was an important week for Aidlink; winning another Published Accounts Award and seeing another successful Aidlink for Turkana take to the stage (both for a third year in a row) reflects the importance of both sides of the work we do. Aidlink is committed to our programmes targeting some of the most isolated and marginalised people in Africa and to ensuring good governance, accountability and transparency in all aspects of our work.
Thank you to all of our supporters.
