Happy New Year from all of us at Aidlink.
We have some exciting plans for 2019 and we would love for you to be a part of them. This year is going to be filled with music and marathons in an effort to raise vital funds for our life transforming programmes in Kenya and Uganda. If you are thinking of giving your time to helping improve the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable people, we at Aidlink have something for you. From a night at the National Concert Hall, to running a marathon through the Ugandan countryside, these are experiences that you can keep with you forever.

VHI Women’s Mini Marathon
The VHI Women’s Mini-Marathon will take place on Sunday the 2nd of June, 2019 and we need you!
Every year, dozens of our supporters walk, jog and run the streets of Dublin to raise funds for Aidlink’s work. This support enables us to reach the most isolated and vulnerable individuals and communities in Africa.
Team Aidlink will be present at marathons in Dublin and Masaka, Uganda for a June Bank Holiday fundraising weekend and you can be a part of this special event.
Walk for Water
This March, we will once again facilitate a Walk for Water school campaign. Walk for Water is part of Global Water Action Month – a month of worldwide action held annually, to provide a platform for organisations and communities to stand together with one voice, calling an end to water poverty through long term and sustainable change.
We will support your school to organise a sponsored walk and, where possible, will endeavor to make a visit to your school to talk and provide information about water and sanitation in developing countries, as well as Aidlink’s work. If you are interested in taking part in Walk for Water 2019, please don’t hesitate to contact Aisling at info@aidlink.ie to receive a Walk for Water school campaign pack.
