We are happy to invite you to join us for our first ever online Christmas Town Hall webinar, Thursday December 10th at 7:30pm. Aidlink partners directly with local African communities to Educate, Enable and Empower them to deliver sustainable change. Join us for this free online event which will include a live update from our partners in Kenya and special musical guests.
On December 10th International Day of Human Rights, Aidlink is hosting a free virtual Townhall Webinar at 7:30pm via Zoom.
2020 has been a year like no other resulting in the cancellation of events and opportunities to come together. As we approach Christmas we would like to bring our friends, supporters and partners together to celebrate the achievements of 2020 and look forward to 2021 in an effort to accelerate our efforts to improve the lives of people living in poverty in Africa.
This is the opportunity to get together, hear from the Aidlink team and from our colleagues in Kenya who will join us live on the night to share stories and challenges from the front line. Our partner The Girl Child Network are working hard to reduce the silent impact of the pandemic on children, especially girls, from Nomadic Pastoralist communities in Kenya.

School closures have given rise to increased incidence of early child marriage, FGM and teen pregnancies in the communities we work with. Education is one of the most effective ways to combat these challenges. You will hear first-hand how your support has made a huge difference in supporting vulnerable children throughout the year and our preparations for a full return to school in the New Year.
The Event will be hosted by Born Optimistic’s Donal Scannell and we will also be joined by Mundy and other musical guests.
Speakers Include:
- John Lynch, Aidlink Chairman & Anne Cleary, Aidlink CEO
- Peris Mootian Programme Education Programme Manager, The Girl Child Network, Kenya and
- Mercy Musomi CEO, The Girl Child Network, Kenya
