Our People

Aidlink is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors from a range of relevant professional backgrounds. Terms of office are three years and Directors can serve a maximum of three terms. The Board of Directors are responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, financial oversight, and good governance.

John Lynch
Chairperson

John is CEO at SelfSense Technologies and works as a Non-Executive Director, Business Consultant and mentor. Previously he was CEO at Merrion Pharmaceuticals plc and has worked in the USA, UK and Ireland.

Aishling Lennon
Secretary

Aishling currently works for Dublin City Council as part of the Environment and Transportation Department. She holds a BA in History, Politics and International Relations from University College Dublin (2010). Aishling is a former Aidlink employee, having worked at the organisation from 2014-2018.

Trevor Tilley
Treasurer

Trevor is currently a Senior Director in PayPal responsible for Strategy and Programme Management for PayPal’s Global Merchant Services team.  Previously, he held several senior finance roles in PayPal and the telecoms industry.  He holds a BSc. (Business Studies) and a MSc. (Strategy) from the technology University Dublin, and is a qualified Accountant with the ACCA.

Eoghan Caffrey
Director

Eoghan is a Policy Specialist at The Central Bank of Ireland. He holds a Masters in Development Studies and before joining the Central Bank, spent 5 years working in International Development on programmes spanning urban and rural Africa and Asia.

Marion Shaw
Director

Marion is a qualified Human Resources professional and Business and Executive coach, with extensive leadership and management development experience working in an international organisation in the private sector. She has previously spent some time working in Africa.

Brian Ingarfield
Director

Brian is an experienced General Manager having previously occupied leadership roles in technology, travel, logistics, retail and franchised businesses in Ireland, the UK, Spain and Italy. Brian holds a Master’s in Business from the Irish Management Institute.

Sean Crowe
Director

Sean is the Principal at CFS Consulting, completing advisory engagements for financial institutions and corporates in respect of strategy, M&A and treasury activities. Sean has held a number of senior roles in the banking, insurance and asset management industries, including CEO of the Markets Division and Member of the Executive Committee of Bank of Ireland from 2014-2020.

Ciarán Ó Muirthile
Director

Ciarán is a Senior Manager at Google Ireland, where he is currently heading up the New Customer Onboarding team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has worked at Google in Ireland and abroad for 14 years in a variety of advertising and marketing roles. He holds a BA International from UCD and a Higher Diploma in Business Enterprise from DCU.

Margaret O’Donoghue
Director

Margaret has worked in secondary education as both Teacher and Guidance Counsellor for many years. She served as Principal of Loreto High School, Beaufort, until the summer of 2019. She is currently working with iScoil, a specialist educational support service for teenagers who cannot manage mainstream education. She holds a BA (Mod) from Trinity College in History and German, a Higher Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling from UCD and a Masters in Educational Leadership, awarded by UCD.

Eoin Martin
Director

Eoin is Strategic Planning Director for the Middle East, India and Africa with Kerry Group, based in Dubai, UAE. He has worked in the Irish agri-foods industry across sales, marketing and strategy for over 15 years across Europe and Russia, where he studied and worked for five years. Eoin holds a BA in European Studies from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, UCD.

Annet Evara
Director

Annet is a Senior Banking Supervisor at the Central Bank of Ireland. She previously worked for The European Central Bank, The Bermuda Monetary Authority and Ernst & Young in Bermuda and Kenya. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Certified Public Accountant, certified Financial Risk Manager by GARP and also holds B.Com in Accounting.
