WHAT?

As the summer months roll in and the evenings grow longer, as we stare out our windows and remember what was and what will be again, we ask you to run (or walk). From Dublin to Uganda, rise from armchairs, pull on shorts, slip on running shoes and run. Run 5k -make a donation – and take our challenge.

We invite you to run or walk 5 or 10K for vulnerable communities in Uganda, on May 20th.

Why?

Social distancing has been tough. The weather is getting increasingly nicer and we’ve all exhausted one too many television series’ on Netflix. For small charities like ours, being cooped up is particularly hard. So many of our events have been cancelled, events that bring in vital funds for the vulnerable women and children that we serve.

At Aidlink, we mean to carry on as best we can during this crisis. Schools must resume, the children we support must return. Families have to eat; we’re determined to continue to provide vulnerable communities with a daily meal. And we all deserve to be able to protect our loved ones, and ourselves, as best as we can, from the disaster and hardships of the coronavirus.

We’ve never needed your help as much as we do now.
